Wouldn't Spotify have to release Joe Rogan from his contract with them before he can take this Rumble deal ?

There's a lot of pressure on Spotify to remove his podcast altogether.

Rogan was worried about Youtube censorship when he negotiated the Spotify deal. Apparently there are some clauses to protect his podcast.

So they can't just remove the podcast and shelve it. That would breach the contract.

Rumble is tossing out this offer because a negotiated split between Rogan and Spotify is quite likely at this point.

Why would it be likely? Spotify has almost no reason to remove Rogan. When has any thing like this ever seriously affected a company's numbers? I'm not talking about what people say. I'm talking actual numbers in 2 quarters.

I am not a lawyer but I would guess that if Spotify were to delete Joe's videos in a way that breaches his contract then he could move elsewhere. I have no idea what is in his contract or if that is even considered.

I'm surprised Rumble has $100M cash after one funding round and one acquisition.

But I guess this makes sense. They'd likely get a huge influx of users and other creators.
