While I've very happy for the DIY farmers, what about the rest of us? Why weren't our complaints enough? Agitation for a right-to-repair has been going on for a long time.
Also, this illustrates a quote from (I think Bodrin and Levine, but it's almost un-googleable), to the effect that you can have intellectual property, or real property, but not both.
