Custom keyboards are neat, but from what I've seen, they can be very expensive. It's nice to see a project where cost is a consideration.

This is a great ortholinear keyboard. I plan to do that myself... "one day". But I will re-invent the wheel: I'll write my own RISC-V keyboard firmware using assembly (probably using gas or fasm, yes, fasm...).

A person makes a mechanical keyboard from scratch without breaking the bank.

pretty cool. a SLA 3D printer would probably do the trick for the keycaps but they did turn out pretty usable which was surprising
