Stem Cell Harvesting from Umbilical Cords

Hi! Hope you guys are doing great!

We are nearing the delivery date and expecting a full term, which is now 3 weeks out.

Have people here extracted and preserved stem cells from their newborns umbilical cord?

What's the general consensus here on HN and the residential experts? Is it useful in the longer run? What are a few things that we need to check up on?

We are meeting with a few firms tied up with our hospital for preservation and wanted to know what all has to be checked up with them.
