Ask HN: What (sites/etc.) are you reading online?

25 years ago, every site I read was independent. Folks running apache servers in their basement throwing sql at a wall to see what sticks. Many were incredibly innovative sites (thinking design oriented things like k10k, praystation etc), some were pretty boring looking but were the bleeding edge of SWE-land.

All the "big" sites are owned by PE or trade groups and their links are all ad-tracked amazon referrals etc. I'm happy to have links to paid sites as well, just independently owned/operated?

Can be tech, design, strategy, business, whatever floats your boat. Podcasts, blogs, no limits.
