Manage Your Energy, Not Your Time

Good luck finding a manager that doesn't want to just check in, get an ETA, or otherwise bother you when you are in a low energy state.

The irony is there, right at the beginning:

energy can be systematically expanded and regularly renewed by establishing specific rituals—behaviors that are intentionally practiced and precisely scheduled

Thus time remains the top resource to allocate (after attention perhaps).

Other than that, it is sad to realize the mechanical, repetitive, dead side of people. I hope we don't end up writing articles like "Play: How To Teach Your Kids The Ancient Art of Childhood".
