I know there's already a small discussion (http://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=2714917) but I wanted to do a poll to ask if you like the redesign and say why or why not?

I like it because of the clean look and emphasis on viewing, creating, and searching events. All of the blue from the previous version now gets out of the way of the most important information and actions.

I also appreciate how the month view uses black text instead of white text on all day events. This makes them easier to read.

There's not enough contrast between "today" and the rest of the month: if I'm not looking straight on at my screen, I can't tell the difference.

The overall effect of the other changes rubs me up the wrong way, but I'll probably get used to it.

I like that they are unifying the design for all their services, and I think they'll try to integrate them with each other a lot more in the near future, which is exactly what they should do.

They need to unify design and behavior. It looks cleaner, there's less clutter and the things I use have been brought to the forefront.
