Ask HN: Machine Learning and Materials Science?

Hello! Is anyone here doing some research blending these two subjects?

I had my degree in materials science and engineering long ago (2013) so I have a huge gap of what's going on today.

I'm enrolled now in a master's program in computer science and I'm thinking about relate both topics in my research.

In my daily job I work with python and machine learning (ecommerce tho), so i have some foundations.

I just wanted to know where should I start looking at and exchange ideas with people doing the same kind of research.
