Has the American government banned it? It seems like a new world out there where corporates now dictate free speech and control the internet, instead of democratic government talking with all stakeholders and creating regulations to balance everyone's rights. I find this extremely disturbing.

Especially when Twitter is far worst in both reach and content. I could at least understand Apple stance on pronography. But banning Telegram channels and this makes me worried. Along with the Apps in Hong Kong Protest although I could give them some benefits of doubt as it was a request by government.
