SS: Just saw this article for the first time. I think it's interesting how the PM of Singapore apparently is (loosely) a hobbyist programmer.

Interestingly his son, Li Haoyi[0], is a well known Scala developer. From the article, "My children are in IT, two of them—both graduated from MIT. One of them browsed a book and said, 'Here, read this.'" It was a textbook on the Haskell programming language, Lee recounted. "One day that will be my retirement reading."
