Ask HN: Chrome OS vs Splashtop OS?

Curious as to what the pros and cons for this would be. Splashtop OS has matured a huge amount and supports everything that chrome OS can do and more. The main difference I see is that the platform to develop on top of doesn't exist in the same way chrome OS has given developers the Chrome web store to work with. What's your take on these two?
