Ask HN: Why Docker(moby) didn't release any new version in the past year?

According to https://github.com/moby/moby/milestone/76 20.03 milestone is past due for 6 months, and the last major version, 19.03, was shipped in 2019/07. Why there's no major docker version released in the past year? Does it indicate some issues in Docker Inc? Should I switch to podman or wait for a few more months?
