Ask HN: I'm building a cleaning/chores app. What features would you look for?

Hello everyone, my girlfriend and I recently moved in together and I realized that our definition of clean, how to clean and when to clean are sometimes really different. This happened during a typical argukent like: "you didn't clean XY!" "What? Yes I did?" "Look, it's still dirty" "Well.. but I cleaned it!" The solution was to sit together and write down how each of us notices if something is dirty (e.g mirror is dirty if it is dusty or has visible spots), how we would clean it and what the end result should be. The second pain I'm trying to solve is doing chores which are so seldom that you never do them (e.g. cleaning the windows) by reminding yourself and help in planning. Currently, I'm building a web app, but I'm not sure yet if a mobile app isn't the better format. I think this app would be helpful not only for couples but also for families and flatmates.

If you are using a chores app already, what's missing?

If you wish to use one, what sort of features would you look for?
