Question to HN'ers

Is it worth while to design and prototype a Stackable Multi-core Mobile platform?

I like my iphone, my galaxy tab and my ipad. But they are really focused devices.

What if my mobile had a primary interface touchscreen unit for the basic functions of calling, browsing, and basic snapshots. -then, if I wanted more power, storage and functionality; I can just stack behind it another processor & memory that has its own power and basic storage (and basic OS instructions think strpped down android). Theoretically, you can just stack accessories like a better camera - or more processing, or more storage.

Instead of building faster chips, just use existing chips and stack them together.

Theres some prototypes out there of android doing simultaneous-tasking.

dumb idea? love to hear what you guys have to say!
