Ask HN: Will pay for embedded/firmware engineering career feedback

1.5 years experience, mostly embedded C on microcontrollers with industry toolchains (Eclipse IDEs, dev kits, etc). Limited experience with backend development (C#/.NET), x-platform mobile (C#/Xamarin).

I would like to: Describe my workload/projects to a non-specific degree of detail. Describe the skills and tasks I think are involved. Describe where I feel I am falling short. Describe the expectations I think I should be meeting. Get your feedback and perspective on the above 4 items.* (*I would be thankful if your experience tells you we should touch upon any other aspects.)

I would like to offer $20 for a 30-minute or $60 for a 60-minute phone call.

Logistics are flexible -- I can be available (unless already otherwise committed, etc) 6am--6pm Pacific Standard Time, all week. Happy to send you a web conference link, use Skype, Google Hangouts, or provide my personal cell, depending on your preference.
