Ask HN: How can I take advantage of my time in graduate school?

I'll be starting the first semester of my master's program next week, going for computer science (U.S. student, also did undergrad in computer science). I know that graduate school is not all about studying (and finding internships), what sort of opportunities should I look out for and what activities might be fun to get involved in?
