Ask for advice: Are you a Wireless Sensor Networks(WSN) researcher?

I am a Master candidate focus on network coding applied wireless sensor networks. Now I have to find some idea to write a paper. I have read some survey papers, but not familiar with the frontier. Could you give me some advice?
