Ask HN: Best Monitors for Coding?

Subject says it all - which ones do y'all like? I've recently been plugging a chrome book into an external monitor and doing some coding via ssh. Chromebook text rendering seems to exacerbate differences in monitor quality, and now I'm noticing fuzzy text on my linux machines as well.
