Ask HN: Are any designers wireframing/prototyping in code?

It seems like Sketch is taking over the space, but for me, tools like this just get in the way and slow me down. I've been writing front-end for over 10 years and have developed considerable speed just coding designs instead of using a tool like Sketch.

For those of you that are very practiced with writing front-end code, have you come to the same conclusion or are there benefits to using a tool like Sketch that I'm missing?
