Ask HN: Any startups who tried Google Ventures' 5 day sprint to solve problems?

I read this book Sprint by Jake Knapp and few others at Google Ventures recently. It basically talks about solving important problems at your business by adopting a 5 day Sprint process. I found it pretty interesting and would like to know if any of you have tried it at your workplace. What were the key takeaways?
