ViaGoGo creates deceptive copies of events on Facebook to sell overprice tickets

I was recently looking for tickets to a concert in Adelaide when I discovered that ViaGoGo is creating fake copies of events which they do not organise, and posting links to their platform for users to buy overpriced tickets.

At present there are still tickets available from the official seller. However viagogo are attempting to use high pressure sales tactics including warnings of limited tickets to get users to buy.

I wouldn't be surprised. That entire industry is shady. Songkick is trying to sort out the mess.
