Ask HN: Reading recommendations on Browser internals, part. layout/rendering

I want to dive deeper into rendering engines and how browsers translate CSS to styling and layout. I'm doing web development for 10 years now, am familiar with concepts like Layout, Repaints, and Reflows, and know a lot about browser quirks in-field.

However, I feel there is more to learn. I'm especially interested in how layout algorithms work. Are there any good resources beyond the source code itself?
