Ask HN: Can I use https client certificates inside a hardware module (yubikey)?

I really like the idea of storing private keys in hardware modules. Last weekend I ordered a few yubico yubikeys and I was wondering If I can use https client certificates (pcs#12) with yubikey or some other hsm?

I can import p12 certificates with yubico piv tool but I haven't found any browser support for those.

How secure would this setup be for opening webgui admin tools through https?
